Program (thesis?) Statement:

Installation in this model would be guided by programmatic purpose. It would act as a flexible structure that gives a framework for the installations use. The discipline of architecture informs the installations intended programmatic purpose while installation allows this intention to be playful and interactive. The physical becomes an extension of the program. Users can occupy, manipulate and define in a dynamic way tangible spaces and in effect, tangible programs. Program evolves from a static function, to a dynamic experiment. In this model, program becomes a product of an event that both evolve over a (temporary) period of time.

“in today’s world where railway stations become museums and churches become nightclubs a point is being made: the complete interchangeability of form and function, function does not follow form and form does not follow function.” — Bernard Tschumi (via experienceandexpression)
